Having achieved this award, now means we can tangibly demonstrate to all stakeholders our commitment and focus in improving environmental performance across all aspects of the business as directed by our Environmental Policy.

How it affects what we do

Having ISO:14001:2015 helps us as a business achieve the aims of our environmental management system providing value for the environment, the business itself and all stakeholders. This is measured and managed under the following tree pillars;

1. Improvement
2. Compliance
3. Protection

To this end, we are active in a number of environmental initiatives such as the re-use of incoming packaging whilst only sourcing new packaging from local suppliers. We support a number of local individuals and community groups as well as supporting the charitable concerns of some of our customers. For minor assembly work we continue to utilize the human resources made available to us through Action Mental Health. Due to globalisation, Transportation continues to be an ever increasing issue. We recognise this, and will using our EMS to address and manage these ongoing concerns.

Monitoring and review is critical to any successful EMS. Our systems and performance are monitored both monthly and quarterly allowing us to determine effectiveness and areas for improvement.
